Make Your Own Coconut Oil

When in the islands there is nothing better than using your own natural and home made coconut oil, this will require stong hands so make sure you've had your breakfast before you start out on this project.....

you will need:-

6 coconuts (dry, husked and cracked ready to be scraped)
one big dish to scrape it into
1 nice clean piece of calico 45cm x 45cm
and a nice strong heavy based small pot to cook it in.

step one: scrape the coconut
step two: squeeze the grated coconut pulp very well (Do not add water)
step three: strain into the small pot
step Four: cook on medium/low heat until the coconut cream is brown and the oil comes to the surface.

let cool and then pour into a jar with good airtight lid.
this can be kept for up to two months. always remember to put in the sunlight every day.

To add aroma scents, heat oil until hot and add a few drops of your favourite scent...let cool before bottling it.

Now you have a natural oil to keep your body smooth and sensual, also good for massage and even your hair.

Note: you can use canned coconut milk for this however freshly grated is the best.

Enjoy!!!
